Segmented Seedcase – Abbotsford studio
Ovoid form with the surface grooved forming five ‘segments. The top has a central raised opening with five further openings divided by indentations. Coated with a thin porcelain slip and coated with a grey ash glaze with applied oxides to the surface. The inner chamber is glazed and features a small green glaze pool. Made from stoneware and high fired in a gas kiln.
